Day Two - Acting Challenge - Awaken the Christmas Dragon

Dear Festive Performer,
 

Welcome to Day 2 of your Acting Advent Calendar! 

Today’s challenge will take you on a magical adventure inspired by the movie The Christmas Dragon.

Don’t worry—this dragon doesn’t eat humans or gingerbread men, unlike our mischievous dragon friend! 
 

Scenario: You are a young adventurer in a magical world where Christmas magic has been lost. You’ve discovered an ancient dragon who holds the key to restoring joy and wonder to the world. However, the dragon is under a sleeping spell, and the only way to wake it is by performing a special ritual and ask him to awaken. 
 

Character Reaction: React to finding the dragon for the first time and show how your character feels when they realise the fate of Christmas depends on them.
 

Performance: Create some movements with your hands to awaken the dragon and then deliver this line: With light in our hearts and hope in our hands, awaken, great dragon, to restore this land!
